Hi my lineage is from Louise America McLemore Prince she was my GGM. Do you have any information on a family burial plot or her death? I would appreciate anything you are willing to share.
Thanks,
Tolly Fincher
Sorry for my delay. I looked into it. It appears to me that America McLemore and her husband John Price remained in Lawrence County, Alabama, and probably died there. The last place I can find them on the census in the Morris Chapel area in Lawrence County, in 1910. But if they marked graves, they’re not in any published cemetery record that I have access to or on FindAGrave. I haven’t turned up anything exact about when they died or where they were buried. I will keep my eyes peeled, though!
Thank you for checking. Tolly
